January 19, 2016 Moroccon People
Hows a going family?? So this week was super boss as always probably the best week ever to be honest. On Monday evening a security guard told some other missionaries about a kid who needed a blessing. Some other missionaries went and gave him one and he turned out to be YSA so they told us to go visit him from now on! His name is ----- and hes only 19 years old and when we talked with him we found out that he was in the hospital because he tried to kill himself due to depression mainly because he had no friends. Well when we told him about YSA he freaked out and was so excited to come! He got released from the hospital a day later and came to institute with us and he loved it and made many new friends! He then came to stake conference with us and loved that even more. He is getting baptized on the 30th and right now since we have already taught him we are teaching him on how to be a missionary because he wants to serve a mission! He is the coolest kid ever we hang out with him every day haha
Another super awesome thing that happened this week was that we knocked into a group of students living together from Morocco! When we knocked into them they were just starting to have dinner so they invited us to eat with them! There was 6 of them and they literally came from Morocco the day before! They fed us some weird Moroccon food but it was pretty good. I am not even going to try and tell you guys what its called like they told us but it was a weird name I cant spell or pronounce but it was good! Then we just talked about religion for a couple hours while listening to Moroccon music haha it was super sick.
On Saturday we got to watch the Chiefs Pats game because we ate at Buffalo Wild Wings! It was seriously the saddest thing ever seeing them lose I was pretty mad but it was fun to watch.
Well everything is going good down here in Florida I got some cool pics of us hanging out with our zone hope you enjoy! I will talk to you guys next week! Sorry we dont have much to email today because we have interviews with the mission president!
Love you guys!!

January 11, 2016 NOVA YSA Fort Lauderdale
Hey family whats up! So I just arrived here in the Nova YSA branch and it is crazy different! There are about 10-15 active members and only 3 active women haha. President sat Elder Marsden and I down and gave us a long talk about how this is a rescue mission and that we will be dealing with alot of Less active members and reactivating them so that this branch will grow. Usually missionaries dont serve in this YSA branch because it is so small but it is also a good thing because this branch NEEDS our help haha. Elder Marsden is awesome hes probably been my favorite companion so far. I am so pumped to work with him and hopefully we will be together for more than 1 transfer haha. Well we also have a car! The YSA branch covers our whole stake boundaries which is basically all of Fort Lauderdale so we have to drive alot but it is cool because we get to see alot more of the area. Well I honestly love it here! Most the people here are black but I love them haha. Walking all the college campuses around is super fun too. Thats super dope that the Chiefs won! If they win the Super Bowl that would be super awesome. Alex Smith needs a ring! Oh actually there are alot of spanish speakers haha just not at church. I am still speaking spanish with people everyday which is nice.
Well anyways a couple really cool experiences happened this week! First one was just we were knocking some college dorms and this girl opens her door and she is RIPPED!! She is like addicted to Crossfit and has competed on American Ninja Warrior and she is seriously the coolest! She is half German half Puerto Rican and she has a pet micropig named Wednesday. Haha well we first go into her room and she has vodka bottles everywhere and a huge bong on the table so I cant wait to teach her the word of wisdom but she is so active and healthy that it should be easy for her to stop. And she is a 28 year old lawyer. One of the smartest women I have ever met. Teaching her is so awesome because she knows nothing about anything but when we teach it she fully understands it it is amazing.

Another super cool thing that happened is that we met a guy that plays basketball for Broward College and it turns out he is actually a less active member in our branch! His name is Jacob and hes like 6'4 and just looks like a straight baller haha. When he came to church everyone was so pumped to see him because he hadnt been in forever! He wore like a super slick suit too and it was super awesome talking with him about basketball he is super cool.
Well thats all i got for this week! This Transfer i will be working harder than I ever have before on my mission haha so wish me luck! The address of my new house is . Davie, FL 33314
Have an awesome week family!

January 5, 2016 New Years and 10 party people come to church! Transfer to Nova YSA and from Elder Wolfe to Elder Marsden
Hey Family hows it going!? Hope New Years was awesome! Here it got pretty crazy in our little cuban neighborhood haha. We opened up our window and stuck our heads out and watched all the fireworks it was pretty cool! That is really cool you got to ordain Caleb to a priest! I cant wait to come back and see him give his mission farewell! He would be a super hard working missionary I can already tell! Well as you know since I am emailing on Tuesday this week was Transfer Week!! I got Transferred to Nova YSA! It is the YSA ward in Fort Lauderdale. So from now on I will be teaching young single adults from the ages 18-30! I am super excited to be serving there! My new companion will be Elder Marsden. I dont know anything about him yet but hes cool. Hes a singer I do know that but thats it haha. The really sad part about this though is that it is english only!!!! So it will be very hard to keep my spanish but I will try my best to study as hard as I can but for me just talking with everyone in spanish is what helps it the most.

Well this week was suuuuper awesome! We were knocking and saw a house full of people partying and we decided to join. Very surprisingly none of them were drinking beer and they were super nice! There was 10 of them, one family from Cuba, another from Honduras, and one from El Salvador. We found them on Saturday night so church was the next day so after having a super awesome bbq with them we gave all 10 of them a card and invited them all to church! They said they would go if they could but most were just visiting so they didn't know for sure if they would come but they said they would try. Anyways the next day rolls around and all 10 of them showed up to church!!! It was super awesome haha they were the coolest people and invited all the members to another bbq that they were having that sunday night. So that night we go back to their house and there is just this huge party and they were playing Hymns given to them by our bishop on their huge boombox which was pretty funny and it was just the funnest Sunday ever. They are all going back to their home countries this week but the couple from Cuba whom they were visiting is still getting taught and wanting to get baptized which is awesome.
Well I got TONS of pictures to send I hope you guys like them. Oh I heard the playoffs start this saturday! Let me know how the Chiefs do! Oh and the new house that I am moving too is on a golf course and it is right next to the Presidents house so I should be able to golf him on a few P days! Well thanks for everything family it looks like you guys are still partying hard! The next time I will be emailing I will be in Fort Laud in a YSA ward!
