Well we met alot of cool families this week! We found a Ukrainian family and they are super cool and they told us about all the bad stuff happening over there and that is why they left to come here to Miami. We had to give that family to the english speaking missionaries because we can only speak spanish but the family barely speaks any english because they got here only a few months ago! We are still teaching the basketball crazed family from El Salvador but they didn't like church too much because a speaker talked about how only humble people can go to heaven and the father took it as if only the poor can go to heaven and he is reeeeeeallly wealthy so it offended him but we tried our best to explain what humble actually is to him. He is still on the edge of baptism but I am confident that his family will get baptized sooner or later.
Something interesting that happened this week was my second bike helmet got stolen and I saw some dude trying to pick my lock by hammering a screwdriver into the key hole but he failed and we just waited for him to leave he was a really big black dude so we didnt bother him but now the key wont fit into it so I have a permanent lock on my bike which is really annoying. So yeah Miami still is Miami luckily i havent gotten robbed yet but my companion it will happen sooner or later no matter what I just gotta make sure I dont have that much money in my wallet haha.
My spanish is still struggling but its improving! Dad if you could give me any study tips or what helped your spanish the most let me know! I am just trying to talk as much as I can in spanish which is pretty fun but also hard especially with the cubans and dominicans. Well I hope you guys have fun in Mexico and that Sarah will have fun partying every night in the house while you guys are gone!
Con Mucho Amor,
ELDER SPENCERRRRRRRR
