Tengo muchas experiencias aqui que recordare para siempre! 1st address in Miami! 5291 nw 1st street, Miami, Florida 33126.

Que tal familia! He disfratado todos los dias aqui en Florida! Tengo muchas experiencias aqui que recordare para siempre! My spanish has gotten alot better and so has my understanding of people here! Its still a bit difficult though because we meet people from everywhere every single day! We knocked into a family a couple days ago and they all only spoke chinese except for the daughter who was 12!! It should be fun teaching them haha. The address to our house is 5291 nw 1st street, Miami, Florida 33126. That's cool your looking to buy a new car! Here in Miami Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Jagaurs, Corvettes, Rolls Royces and like every other type of car are insanely popular here its crazy! I need to start taking my camera everywhere I go so I can get some pics and show you guys. Well sounds like everything is going pretty good down in Utah! I bet Sarah loves Sky View its soooo much better than North Trash. My advice to Sarah is to make as many memories as she can that she will remember forever! But yeah you guys gotta send me some halloween pics! I dont think we are doing anything for halloween here but it is a mission so I can understand it haha.
Well Florida is flippin awesome so far! Elder Gamez and I are still going strong in the work and we have met a bunch of people and have made tons of friends and I cant wait to baptize dem! I will keep ya updated on dem! We still haven't knocked on or met a person here that only speaks english which is amazing it just gives you guys an idea how spanishy it is down here. Buuuuut my bishop here told me that Daniel Heath and his Wife live super close to me!! I hope i can see him here and maybe even go golfing with him! We can go golfing on P- Days if we are with a member so yeah that would be dope if I got to go golfing with him here. But yeah last P-Day we went to the Graffiti Art District and it was suuuuuuper cool I will send you guys some pics!
Well this last week has been super cool! I got to give a couple priesthood blessings and it was really cool! We knocked into a guy from the Panama who got into a car accident and his leg got cut in half and he was really big into cycling so he was super bummed out but we gave him a blessing and he really liked it. I also gave a priesthood blessing to a lady who was preparing for surgery to get her knee replaced for the 3rd time and she was like really emotional and cried alot but she was really grateful for my blessing and then fed us some super good food.
I also got to go on an exchange last week with Elder Anderson whose from Bountiful Utah. It was suuuuper cool. We taught some dude from the Martial Islands named Stanny and we taught him the law of chastity and told him he would have to get married to be baptized and when he heard this he immediatly wanted to get married which was a miracle. He spoke very little english but he could understand us which was also amazing. So after that lesson we then started preparing his wedding and baptism which is this week! I cant go though cuz hes not in our area which is lame but at least i helped him out a bit.
Well the mission is super fun and im loving it! I will send you guys some pics and hopefully some more awesomer stuff will happen this week.

1st Pics from FLORIDA! Trainer is Elder Gamez-Cruz

Week 6 & 7 FLORIDA BOUND! 1st EMAIL in the field!

Waaasssuuuup! Well Florida is a heck of alot better than Mexico! The plane ride here was super cool too i just talked to a girl who was my age from mexico who didnt speak any english but we talked like the whole plane ride and it was super sweet. But when we arrived here i got to meet alot of the other missionaries here and they are all super cool and chill. My companion is suuuuuuuper awesome! His name is Zeniff Daniel Gamez Cruz and hes from Utah too but raised in Mexico so Spanish is his first language so that should help me learn spanish faster. The people here in Miami are super awesome too! Everyone here is from a different country its unreal! The first lesson that we taught was to a woman from Peru. Then the next one was to a guy from Colombia. And then it was to a guy from Honduras. And a whole bunch of a other countries like Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica, we have met people already from everywhere. But whats really hard is that they all speak wayyyyy different its unreal. LIke cubans speak super fast and never say their s's so i cant understand them at all and it is pretty hard for my companion to understand them too. But yeah this first week was awesome! We found a family of 4 our first day and they are progressing and i really hope we can baptize them like if this family was my first baptism it would be so cool. They are from Honduras and their names are Ana and Juliano so yeah hopefully we can do it.

The house we are staying at is pretty nice. Its pretty big and we live with 2 other missionaries. They are pretty dope too. Going to church this Sunday was super fun too! I met the bishop and a bunch of members and we had 1 investigator come with us his name is Bryant and he is 15 years old and he is super cool. He wants to get baptized but his parents are really against it so we are gonna talk with him this week sometime and try to get a baptism date fo him.

The part of the city that we are at is seriously third world. Everything is in spanish! I have yet to talk to someone here that speaks somewhat good english. Pure Latinos here. All the restaurants are like restaurants you would see in costa rica except for the fast food restaurants. One of my favorite foods here is Baleadas. Its a hondurian dish and we have eaten it like a bunch already and it is suuuper rico. When we ate at some peruvians house they served us some weird food like raw fish in soup but it was good, dont know the name of it.

We have a car and get to use it every other day which is nice. My companion doesnt have a license so I have to drive everywhere which is kinduv scary cuz the drivers here are insane but so far so good. But yeah thanks for all them packages! Dont worry about sending more stuff i can pretty much get everything i need here. Well im runnin out of time but thanks for all your emails! Keep me updated on like college football and basketball there is nothing here where we can stay updated haha. Im gonna miss alot of stuff while im out here. ight well i gots to go later familila!

Week 5 General Conference and Orson Spencer

Hola Familia! Nothing really cool happened this week but thanks for all your pics and vids! I cant wait to go hunting when i get back. I hope Sky View wins state! That is crazy they are doing this well. I heard the utes are killing it too football which surprised me cuz utah state almost beat them! haha But yeah General Conference was great! Did you catch that Henry B. Eyring mentioned Orson Spencer in his talk during priesthood? I bet it is the one we are related too which is really cool. I cant wait to leave this place in a week tho! Next time I write you guys I will be in Florida somewhere! Thanks for your packages too! If you could send one more with a bunch of snacks that would be great  cuz the store here is being renovated right now which sucks. But yeah all we did basically this week was study spanish and watch some general conference. This place is starting to get pretty boring cuz everyone left last week too theres hardly anyone here. Oh and I left my patriarchal blessing at my house so if you could send it to Florida that would be great too i think it is in the cuboard in front of my bed somewhere idk but if you could find it and send it soon i would be very grateful haha. Well i got some pics for you guys too so i will upload them and send them!

Week 4 Buena Experiencia with a recent convert

Hola familia! No siento enfermo ahora lo cual es bueno. Yo necesitaba
para ir al medico pero encontraron nothing serious haha. Mi espanol no
es perfecto pero es mas facil enseñar en español. That sucks you got
an infection but im suprised you dont get more from working in the ER
haha. Yeah im super jealous i couldnt go to that concert but i bet
they will still be touring when i get back unlike Angels and Airwaves!
Oh well not listening to music isnt super bad i can still remember all
my favorite songs in my head haha but when the day comes that i forget
them thats gonna suck. I hope you have fun hunting! Make sure you
update me on shadow and sonnys health I hope they will still be there
when I get back!
Entonces, tuve un buena experiencia este semana! My companion and I
got to teach a recent convert of about 6 months. She took
lessons from some missionaries for a month and got baptized but she
said they both had to leave right after she got baptized. She said
ever since they left she hasnt felt the spirit even when she goes to
church so we decided to teach her about the book of mormon and read
the introduction to her (which i have memorized, well the first and
last 2 paragraphs of it). We talked about reading the book of mormon
and praying to know if it is true which surprisingly she said she had
never done. We told her that if she read the book of mormon and prayed
about we knew she would feel the spirit. Anyways she said she would do
it and we had a really good conversation even though it was super hard
to understand but we understood just enough to know her needs. So to
end the lesson we asked her to say a prayer. She said okay and started
to pray but about halfway into it she started crying like crazy. We
just let her let it all out and then when she finally finished she
said that was the first time she has felt the spirit in 6 months and
she was really grateful for us. We then had to go to dinner cuz we
were already super late but she took a picture with us and we left. I
wish i had the picture, her name was xxxxxxxxx hopefully she comes
back and i can get it. But yeah it was a cool experience. After dinner
our teacher talked with us about our lesson and told us that the woman
we taught told our teacher that she hadnt been reading the book of
mormon or praying and now she says she will do that so she can feel
spirit. It felt really good to know that i helped someone in their
life and i cant wait to help many people more! Well i dont gots more
time to email so i gotta go i will send pictures next week! Con Amor,
Elder Spencer
